Pokal Ježek
Invitation to swimming meeting Pokal Ježek 2012
Pokal Ježek is an annual meeting organized by the Swimming Club Ljubljana and is aimed at younger girls and boys.
It was always an event where the youngest swimmers gathered every year at the end of the winter season for a slightly unorthodox competition format designed to promote swimming to the public and young swimmers alike.
Every competitor can swim all four styles, whether it’s 4x50m or 4x25m depending on his/her age. The overall winner is the competitor with the fastest time computed from times achieved in individual events.
Swimmers who are disqualified can still compete in other events however they automatically fall behind those with 4 valid results in the overall placement.
Winning teams are determined based on results in the 2 x 4 x 25m relay (4 girls & 4 boys, 4 from category A, 4 from category B).
